SAS stands for San Antonio Shoes. They are also branded SAS Shoemakers, SAS Comfort Shoes, SAS Shoes.
SAS is a second-generation, family owned shoe manufacturer. The founders were Terry Armstrong and Lew Hayden. They opened SAS in 1976 in San Antonio, Texas. These gentlemen were originally shoemakers in Maine and relocated for several reasons including the great climate and business potential in Texas.
